VOTE AND BE PAID A ONE MILLION DOLLAR BRIBE

It's that time of year again......elections. Love 'em or hate 'em, it's one of our rights. To vote for the *lesser of two weevils.*

In Arizona, there is a proposition to be voted on in the general election to allow a cash prize for voting. Prop. 200 reads in part: *Proposition 200 would establish a $1,000,000 prize to be awarded to a randomly selected person who voted in the primary or general elections. Anyone who voted in the primary or general election would be automatically entered in the drawing for the prize money and a person who voted in both the primary and the general election, that person's name would be entered twice in the drawing.*

Does this sound like a bribe? It does to me! Also sounds like ripe pickins for voter fraud. This has got to be one of the silliest ideas and props to be voted on this year. People who would not normally vote could sign up and vote willie-nellie just to get their name in the drawing. No thought into who would be the *lesser of two weevils.* Not to say, that it cheapens the freedoms and rights of this country. People do need to get out and vote, even if it does look like there is really no canidate to vote for. There are very important propositions and issues too to vote for, that help or harm everyone of us in some way, we do need to voice our views on those. Do we want someone to vote soley for the chance to win a cash prize? I DON'T!
